Is SmartPic really local?
SmartPic is designed for local-first photo cleanup on your Mac. Core workflows like background
removal, object cleanup, and image upscaling do not require a cloud upload!
Do I need internet access to use it?
Internet access is only required for downloading SmartPic, using App Store purchases and restores, and receiving updates. Core photo cleanup works locally on your Mac without uploading your photos.
Is this a subscription?
Yes. SmartPic offers monthly plans through the Mac App Store, including a 50-output plan and an Unlimited plan. Apple shows your localized price before purchase.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Download SmartPic from the App Store and use your first 10 saved outputs free before choosing a plan.
What exactly do I get after payment?
Your selected plan is activated through your Apple Account. You can restore purchases, manage your subscription, and cancel through Apple's standard App Store tools.
What kind of tasks is SmartPic best for?
SmartPic is superb for quick cleanup jobs where the outcome matters more than a heavyweight editing
workflow: product photos, clutter removal, background cleanup, low-res image rescue, and batch
processing on Mac.
How fast is the workflow in practice?
The workflow is meant to stay simple: drop an image or folder, apply the tool you need, and
export the result without switching between multiple apps or browser tabs.
Will it fit into my Mac workflow?
SmartPic is built for Mac usage patterns, including drag-and-drop and Finder context menu
actions, so repeated cleanup tasks are faster than a multi-app workflow.
